Visitors to the 1950s All-Electric House at the
Johnson County Museum of History enter a 50s time warp when touring the "house of the future." The ranch home was originally constructed by Kansas City Power & Light in 1954 as a model home complete with futuristic gadgetry such as a hidden TV, electric curtain opener, and a garage door opener.
Tours are given every half hour, and tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
