8 Limbs offers classes a variety of yoga classes at all levels of practice and for all ages, including prenatal, Mom & Baby, Kids, and Teen Yoga, at its studios on Capitol Hill,
Phinney Ridge,
West Seattle, and in the
Wedgwood area. All yoga props are provided during classes.
Prenatal classes are non-dogmatic and welcoming to all levels. The
Mom & Baby classes are drop-in, and also welcome dads; the focus is on regaining abdominal tone and body strength while lessening back and shoulder pain. The rigorous
Teen Classes, aimed at youth 11-18, offer teen a challenging physical workout and strategies for channeling energy.
Kids Yoga classes mix games and songs with the physical postures. Kids Yoga Camps are offered each summer. Childcare is available for select classes at the Capitol Hill studio.
