Aidan Gill for Men bills itself as a refuge for men, but boys might like a more manly atmosphere than a typical salon and - if they're over six and well behaved - they, too, can benefit from Aiden Gill's ministrations.

The salon also offers "A Child's Heirloom Haircut" experience that captures a child's first haircut on film, documented through the lens of native New Orleans photographer Cheryl Gerber.

The finished piece costs $500, and includes an 8"x10" black and white museum-quality print by Cheryl Gerber, housed in a handsome frame with an acid-free mount and finished with a lock of your child's hair beneath the photograph. The Heirloom cut is available only on Sundays, booked well in advance.
