About American Girl Place
Here is a doll-loving little girl's dream come true. Local little girls love American Girl Place, as do the visiting girls who flock here on week-ends. And why not? This unique store is full of American Girl dolls and paraphernalia - clothes and accessories for the dolls, matching clothes for the girls, and books about the dolls. When we visited, a doll caregiver was demonstrating the proper way to care for a doll's hair.
At the cafe, girls may dine with their dolls using doll-size high chairs that attach to the tables. The menu is kid-oriented and offers only a few adult-friendly items. The AG regulars we talked to raved about the desserts. Brunch, ($15.50), lunch ($16.50), and dinner ($16.50) seatings are available 7 days a week.
Yes, AG does parties. Party packages include a 2-course meal, a cake, and goody bags. AG also hosts special events, such as Play Alongs, which change monthly for kids ages three to five, usually on Wednesday mornings. Reservations are required.
The bathrooms are clean and spacious. One has a changing table.

- My gosh, it rocks! I am an AG fan, and I ADORE the store. What really impressed me, though, was the way it was organized. The displays were kid-eye level height, the dolls sat with the girls in the bistro, and most impressing, the staff all looked as though they were huge American Girl Doll Fans. They were very welcoming and I hope to go soon again!

[Submitted by Anonymous6/16/09 - My 7.5 years of age daughter & I visited the Natick store today. Everything about it exceeded our expectations. The location, appearance, layout, cleanliness and selection were perfect. The place was very well staffed on a very busy Saturday in February. Every single person was helpful, professional, warm, courteous & cheerful. Stock was replenished constantly during our visit. The employees were the best I have encountered outside of Disney World. The bistro was awesome, food & service way above average!! The doll hair salon was adorable and efficient. The whole place, just very well thought-out, just can't say enough good things about it. This is a must have experience for anyone who loves American Girl, don't miss it!!! We drove over an hour to get there & will definitely be returning soon. The whole experience was a dream come true for my little girl, she absolutely loved it!
