The Austin Steam Train heads out from the railroad depot in Cedar Park. Call for reservations.
The Hill Country Flyer runs from Cedar Park, through the Hill Country, to Burnet, where passengers can enjoy lunch and shopping during a 2-1/2 hour layover. Total round-trip time, including the layover, is about 6-1/2 hours. Prices: Adults $28-$43; Seniors $25-$39; Children $18-$27.
The Bertram Flyer is a shorter run, from Cedar Park, through the Hill Country, to the historic 1912 train station in Bertram. Passengers may tour the station for about 20 minutes before the return trip. Total round-trip time is about three hours. Prices: Adults $17-$32; Seniors $14-$29; Children $12-$24.
Special seasonal trips are also available, such as a Halloween Murder Mystery ride and the North Pole Flyer.

getting there:
To reach the depot in Cedar Park from Austin, take I-35 north to Highway 183. Exit at RM 1431/Whitestone Boulevard in Cedar Park and turn left. The railroad station is a half-mile ahead on the right.
