Barnett Family Park is a spectaular play area located in downtown Lakeland's Lake Mirror Park. Whimsical sculptures of native creatures populate the park, hand-cut glass tiles sparkle in the Florida sun, and an interactive water fountain keeps frolicking kids cool.

The one-of-a-kind playground equipment features an insect theme. Just try keeping the kids away from the inchworm swing, which holds up to four children at a time. Nylon-wrapped steel cables in the shape of a spider web offers climbing areas for kids of all sizes, and a kid-powered beehive ride spins in circles.

Families can also wander the park's maze-like labyrinth and learn about Florida's wildlife through educational displays.
