Big Apple Day Program is a Manhattan co-ed summer day program for children ages seven to 18 with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and/or learning difficulties, including:
~ ADHD
~ Asperger's
~ High Functioning Autism
~ PDD-NOS
~ Behavior Problems
~ Anxiety
~ Learning Disability
~ Non-Verbal Learning Disability
~ and other social-emotional difficulties.
Activities include social skills training, art learning, group problem-solving, recreational team sports, classroom academic sessions, and field trips. Older adolescents also participate in interpersonal skills group, adolescent issues group, and business meetings where they learn to responsibly plan and execute long-term community projects.
