This smaller chain of bookstores offers some great deals and a large kids area.

The stores are all relatively the same inside with long rows of books accented by an in-store Joe Muggs Coffee cafe. Long tables of heavily discounted books are usually in the middle of the store and some of the titles will surprise you - plenty of recently popular titles and classics are mixed with wacky, off-the-wall volumes. The discounted book area is a great place to find gifts around the holidays.

Kids-A-Million is the large kids area, complete with seating and a few toys to play with. The selection of books for kids is on par with other chains, and kids can also find plenty of unique activity sets to purchase. Storytimes are also offered at most stores.

The Joe Muggs Coffee cafes offer a casual place to grab a gourmet coffee, small pastry, and read a book or magazine.
