I am totally DISAGREE with you mom, I have my two children for three years in this school and I am very happy with the results. The director is a very nice person and has a very good communication with parents. The teachers of the school have a bachelor degrees in their countries and they have experience working with children in USA. Personally I really appreciate how my children are getting a good education,good manners, good behave and good discipline plus they are learning another language. The school curriculum is very good. The tuition and enrollment fees are posted in the website, the school is not hidden any fees or costs. I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL

Being A LICENSE TEACHER FROM CALIFORNIA -THE TOUGHEST STATE TO EARN LICENSE...I WORKED IN COMPTON AND WAS "TENURE" TEACHER IN THE PALOS VERDES AREA...I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SCHOOLS """PRINT RICH ENVIRONMENT"""SOMETHING EVERYONE OF MY COLLEGE PROFESSORS WILL EVALUATE/RECOMMEND WHEN LOOKING AT A SCHOOL....MY FELLOW COLLEAGUE (JANE FOWLER) AND I LOOK FOR CHILDREN BEING ENGAGED IN ACTIVITIES (NOT DOING DITTO WORK) WORKING with THEIR FINE MOTOR SKILLS, CRITICALLY THINKING AN ARTICULATE THEIR THOUGHTS IN HIGHLY ORGANZIED ""FUN""ACTIVITIES! THE TEACHERS WERE POSITIVE AND TAUGHT IN A VERY CALM ENTHUSIASTIC WAY! MY AUNT AND STEP-MOTHER WOULD KICK PARENTS AND CHILDREN OUT OF THEIR DAYCARE IF THE KIDS AND PARENTS WERE NOT BEING POSITIVE AND COOPERATIVE! JUST LIKE LAKE COUNTRY WILL KICK PARENTS AND KIDS OUT IF THEY ARE NOT REACHING THEIR ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS --EVEN THEIR SPANISH REQUIREMENT!! I THINK THE STATES STANDARDIZED TEST DO NOT MEASURE SCHOOLS SUCCESSES/ABILITIES PROPERLY -- THEY SHOULD MEASURE EVERY SCHOOLS READING ABILITY IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH --ALL THE LANGUAGES THE SCHOOLS ARE FIGHTING FOR ON THEIR SCHOOLS ADVERTISEMENT OF ACADEMICALLY ACHIEVABLE STANDARDS THAT WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED AT THEIR SCHOOLS! BASED ON MY OBSERVATIONS I AM IMPRESSED! THEY LOVE THEIR JOB/PROFESSION/CAREER AND TAKE THEIR JOB/PROFESSION/CAREER SERIOUSLY WITH JOY IN THEIR HEART! TEACHING is a teach of Heart!

We had our 3 yr old son in Caminito during the 2008/2009 school year. He learned so much spanish (#'s, colors, alphabet, songs etc.. )and had so much fun! There was a lot of personal attention given by the teachers and they were very warm and caring. Our overall experience was great.

We have two children (three & four) in the Caminito Spanish school and they are quickly and efficiently learning new Spanish words and phrases every day. The staff is warm & caring and we feel that's it's been a tremendous blessing to my family to have our children attend the pre-k. One more bonus is that I'm actually picking up some words too!!

I drive 30 minutes 2 days per week as an investment in her education, and will continue doing it next school year. I am very pleased with the school, especially in the communication area! I really appreciate the warmness, reasonable prices and the personalized attention. Kids even carry a folder where the teacher writes personal notes to parents, and shares thoughts at drop-off & pick-up time. Sorry to hear about your bad experience at the summer camp, but I am sure that this incident is an exception, understandable in summer classes; they are always a little more hectic! I could easily make the same mistake, haven���¢��?��?t tried an almond sandwich yet! But again, for us, it has been a GREAT experience, with both summer classes and school year program.

I really sorry that your son was not accepted in the summer camp program,but seems that if we need something we should use a good manners and education.
In your comments you sounds with not patience.I know that if you need a tax receipt you can get it from the website of the school. I know the moms will be happy to talk and let you know how happy they are with the school, the director, the teachers and the program. In your comments you admitted that the teachers are sweet. By the way if you speak Spanish why your son needs a Spanish school? I understand that the school is for not Spanish speakers.

I am the same person that wrote the previous bad review. So just wanted to give you all parent that are considering this so called "school" for your children. I know that the concept of a bilungual school sounds great, but here's the new of "great" administration. After I had a problem with on July (you can read my previous review, in which I guarantee I did not write anything that was not true) I needed a tax receipt for my flexible spending account at work, and since she kicked my kid out of her school beacuse she didn;t like me standing up to her, i needed an pudated receipt with the correct amount. So I had no choice but to call. I called around noon and said I was calling because I needed a receipt to make claim for my ... oops got cut short, she recognized me (easy to do, I am one of the few moms that speaks Spanish) she replied, "I am too busy, please call after 2pm", I said, OK can I give you my phone number and could you please call me when you have time?, "no, call after 2pm" (at this point I am over the problem we had, and I just need to ask for the receipt).... So I called at 3pm and she again picked up. I said to her who I was and explained I needed a receipt. She said no more and no lees than the following words: "You are asking me for a favor, and I do no favors to you and you know why?, because of the reviews you posted online" I had no words for this kind of answer, for one, she HAS to give me a tax receipt at the end of the year, and she thinks she's doing me favor?. Parents, I guarantee to you, I am not the kind of person to go arguing with people, but I can't believe the lack of profesionalism of this "teacher". I would not trust her with my child. Unless you pull your kid out of that school that in theory sounds like a great place... Parents, I hope you don't let this person with such a lack of profesionalism fool you with her attitude, because I guarantee you if you ever have a problem with her method, you will be very dissapointed on the way she handles it.

We talked to Maru who is the director today. We were very impressed with the program and the price is very reasonable. Maru is very good with the children - very loving and warm. We're sending our daughter there this year. I'd really love for her to be bilingual and this seems like a great way to make that happen and it doesn't cost anymore than regular day care. They will teacher our daughter numbers and letters and colors just like other preschools, but she's learn Spanish and have excellent pronounciation from learning it so young. To me it's like my daughter will become bilingual for free which is amazing (nothing additional beyond regular preschool cost). I hope to reply back as the year progresses to share with you our experiences.
