Cauley Square Historic Village551

As a long time South Florida Resident, I thought I was familiar with all of our attractions; that is, until I discovered Cauley Square last week. Driving down US1, I had passed it many times but had always thought Cauley Square consisted of only its main building, which is the only structure seen from the highway. I had no idea of what actually made up the Square.Once I turned into the main entrance, it was like I had left South Miami and had gone into another time and place. The first attraction to my right was a beautiful horse=drawn carriage, offering a tour of the Square for a modest price. I then proceeded to explore the wonderful little village with its many small shops and restaurants, even a pet grooming salon. I highly recommend it if you like history,nature and quiet surroundings.
