This upscale grocery store has one of the area's best seafood selections - both fresh and frozen. The produce department is huge and includes lots or hard-to-find and exotic items. Central Market also has an excellent selection of Asian groceries. Although the store generally has higher prices than the larger chains, the prices on Asian foods are a bargain. Items like sesame oil, soy sauce, and other specialty sauces are generally half the price of stores like Safeway, QFC, and Fred Meyer.

The store was updated in 2008 and includes the biggest olive bar we've ever seen and a huge imported cheese selection.

The store's take out restaurant offers Chinese and Mexican food (fast food prices and quality), hot dogs, and surprisingly good pizza.

Central Market's annual kids' Halloween event is popular (and free) and features trick-or-treating, a bounce house, tractor rides around the parking lot, and spooky sights galore.
