Doylestown's 108-acre Central Park, winner of our 2009 Parents' Picks Award for Best Playground or Park in Philadelphia, is a family-oriented public park that offers a multitude of active and passive recreational opportunities.
The park's facilities include five tennis courts, two basketball courts, a volleyball court, a tot lot play area, three soccer fields, an A1 golf link, a picnic pavilion, an amphitheater, and more than a mile of multi-use trails.
The crown jewel of Central Park is the Kids' Castle, an playground that includes a 35-five-foot high castle, a very friendly dragon, a tree house, a barn yard, a rocket ship, a promenade for toddlers, a multitude of slides and swings, and a children's amphitheater.
