Situated on the south bank of the scenic Willamette River, Champoeg's acres of forest, fields, and wetlands recreate the landscape of the pioneer days. The site includes a visitor center, two museums, an 1860s-style garden, and the Historic Butteville Store, which was founded in 1863 and is the oldest operating store in Oregon.
The campground includes full hookup sites, yurts, cabins, tent sites, a hiker/cyclist camp, and a group RV area.
