Costco, a discount shopping warehouse, carries more than huge boxes of Cheerios and Tide. It offers some seasonal merchandise (like basic camping or beach equipment), diapers, wipes, formula, children's books and toys, and a limited selection of gear, toys, and clothing (for babies and kids) at the kind of reasonable prices this mega-store is known for.

A full service pharmacy, vision center, tire center, and 1 Hour Photo/Digital prints make this a one-stop shop.

It also carries industrial-sized sheet cake - the kind you need to handle a crowd of indiscriminate but very hungry young ball players or birthday celebrants. If size is your goal, it may offer the best value in town. Other food items that hungry families like ours really appreciate are the delicious rotisserie chicken, the oversize pizzas, and the availability of items such as organic chicken breasts, wild-caught salmon, and some organic fruits and veggies.
