Cranium Clubhouse4526

Our kids have been going to Cranium Academy for almost a year now. We can not believe how much they love going to the school each and every day. My friends who have not moved their kids over to Cranium yet keep complaining about the other schools they are at. I signed up for next year already and it appears they are going to move their kids over too. We also had a Birthday Party at Cranium last month and it was once again outstanding (shocker :-)). Thanks to the management and staff at Cranium Clubhouse and Cranium Academy for giving my kids such a tremendous early education.

Birthday party!!! 5 stars to the girls specially melisa, great job..now words from the owner "I'm petrified" "I'm scared with your decorations" "I left my 4 year old at home to come in here" "you're setting up yourself for failure tomorrow" "Rebecca (front desk) must have spend 1 hr 1/2 with you over the phone" "if you wanted a custom party you should have rented a place elsewhere".....this happened the night before my party, after I had CONFIRM everything I brought in via email, (so I had written confirmation). But yet the owner had NO MANNERS to come up to me they way he did and said everything stated above.... so I'm giving him a 3 star only because he apoligized at the end several times!!!

I am so excited about Cranium Academy. Being an elementary school teacher, I was extremely picky about the preschool my child was going to attend. I had settled on another school in the area before I had found out about Cranium Clubhouse. The learning curriculum and techniques they have been using are producing results. I have noticed a huge difference in my girls core knowledge in reading and math. When I quiz her on the explorers critical thinking curriculum, I am amazed at how much knowledge she is retaining and using. I compare Cranium Academy to a modern Montessori in terms of the way they build up my child's critical thinking and cognitive skills. She loves going to school every day and her teachers are so warm and caring. I feel like we have made the best investment in our child's future and feel so lucky to have heard about Cranium Academy. If I didn't have to, I wouldn't even give them one star. Do yourself a favor and save your money, time and energy. One of the reviews below said it best...these people are salesmen, not educators.

Our kids have done summer camps and two birthday parties at Cranium Clubhouse. They have loved it every time they have been there. My wife recognized two of the employees from camps last year and they remembered her and our kids. We attended one party there last weekend and realized we knew the people having the second party so we stayed over with them. I got a chance to observe both parties and we were very impressed with both events. The front desk person was very nice and the staff is so much more professional then the typical party and summer camp places we go to. Both the kids begged us to go back to the camps this year so we signed them up. Just wanted to say thanks and we look forward to our kids having fun this summer too.

Both our kids have been going to Cranium Clubhouse for six months now. We are so happy with their preschool. Our oldest boy had been to 2 different preschools in the past and he has made more progress at Cranium Clubhouse in 2 or 3 months then he made in the last two years. We love the Explorers curriculum, which seems to be building up both of our boy’s critical thinking skills. I am a Montessori parent and decided on Cranium Clubhouse partially based on their modern approach to teaching kids how to use and build their critical thinking skills. My only thing to suggest would be that they try to offer a K-2 school in the future. I feel their unique critical thinking approach to teaching would continue to benefit my boys even more if they had that chance – at least we found Cranium now so at least they get this exposure while they are still in preschool.

My kids have been going to Cranium Clubhouse for several months now. My daughter is in the preschool and my boy joins her during holiday and summer camps. Both my husband and I think the world of Cranium Clubhouse. The progress that our daughter has made has been beyond our expectations. We had looked at so many schools before Cranium and none of them were anything like it. We love the atmosphere.....the learning environment.....the educational curriculum. We have gotten close to most of the other parents in our daughters class and most of their kids had been at other preschools and all of them can not stop saying how happy they are to have their kids in the Cranium preschool. Oh yeah and our boy......he just thinks Cranium is cool and that is about all we can get out of him but what do you expect from a 7 year old boy who is.......all boy (takes after his daddy). Our daughter has been going to Cranium for about 6 months now. Between her two older brothers and her we have had lots of experiences at various child care places and we just love Cranium. When we talk to the other parents in her class all of us can not believe what a wonderful preschool it is. I am not sure if it is just the staff - which is wonderful and so caring. I am not sure if it is the education and use of technology with hands on projects. I am not sure if it is the way they teach my daughter concepts that seem to go way beyond what I thought children could learn at this age. Maybe the family type atmosphere? Probably all of these but my daughter is so far ahead of my boys at this stage and her two best friends in the class = their parents say the same thing. Thank you so much Cranium for making such a positive impact to my child and our lives.

I think a parent above got it right, they talk a good game but they are salespeople not good education administrators. They boasted their innovative technology. That is the biggest joke. Their innovative technology - the use games right from the internet on Starfall.com and a few other educational programs. They promised individualized programs. NOT. They said the children did not have to nap that they could do something quietly during nap time. Well they lied. They never give my child what I send in and then they have excuses for everything. It was a big waste of money. My child could have learned as much if not more at home with me.

The owners just do not maintain a safe environment. They do have decent student teacher rations but they are unable to control their students. They have several children that they bounce around from class to class after they hurt too many children. These are serious injuries, the children are punching, biting and scratching. Children have been scarred there. A few kids are afraid to go to school because they teachers don't control the kids. The owners take anyone they can and they will do what ever they can to keep the children there. After a dozen incidents when other schools would send out a child Cranium has moved them to another class. And what they do is blame old schools for these actions. The lack of unprofessionalism is unbelieveable. They constantly trash other schools and blame other schools for issues there and yet they are constantly changing things to make them more like the other schools. Back in the old days when it was a smaller operation, our kids were learning. Now, it has become a daycare that they are not prepared to manage. They made many promises that they do not keep. It is the worst feeling to bring a child to school when you do feel safe leaving there. This happens often at Cranium and they demand tons of money up front so you cannot get out of the program. It is not worth it when your child cries and tells you there are afraid. Be prepared to be scared. Don't do it.

Our child has only been in the preschool for a few months and we love it. Between our two kids we have had lots of experiences at other preschools before finding Cranium. Everything from the education to the decor to the teachers and staff = we can not stop talking about it to our friends. Our 1 year old will be signing up for their new Gym classes too.

Just found out about their Mommy and me classes. A gym program is just what I need to get my little guy out and about! Im so excited!!

We are so pleased with Cranium Clubhouse and their preschool. Our kids had been going to another preschool that we thought was one of the best in the area so we have/had no complaints about the old place but so far Cranium is better then anything we could have ever imagined. Everything from the atmosphere to the staff to the learning programs.....it is such a wonderful environment for our kids. I just wished they had a K and Elementary school.

I heard of this place from a friend who currently goes there. I went in today for a tour and was very pleased with everything. Im a person that has to see it to believe it, and now I can see exactly what my friend was raving about! Im excited to have this preschool in our community!

Just like the rating says...."don't bother." Very unprofessional establishment. Left extremly disappointed. They talk a good game, but apperances can be deceiving.

My family and I first attended Cranium Clubhouse as birthday party guests. After seeing the facility and experiencing the most awesome birthday party, we signed up my son for pre-school. He LOVES to go to Cranium Clubhouse "school"! The staff is super friendly and the touch screen technology is really cool! The location is super convenient and easy to get in and out of quickly. I am so thankful to have Cranium Clubhouse in my neighborhood!

What a great Party! My daughter said that it was her BEST birthday ever! All of the kids really liked the crafts and bounce houses, as well as the games. Mindy and Isabela did a fantastic job. All of the variety of activities kept the kids engaged and entertained. We received so many compliments from parents on what a fun, smooth, organized birthday party we had at Cranium Clubhouse, Thank You!!

I am a teacher in an elementary school and feel I have checked very thoroughly into a suitable preschool learning environment for my son. In my opinion, nothing even comes close to what Cranium Clubhouse offers. They have top-of-the line learning products and technology. With the short attention span of preschoolers, the teachers do an awesome job advancing from program to program in a fun, decorative atmosphere. I feel that my son's teachers truly care about him and all their students. I am so glad to have found this place and am looking forward to booking a birthday party there soon.

I wanted to let everyone know how pleased we have been with the preschool and tutoring classes at Cranium Clubhouse. The front desk staff and teachers are so nice and the learning environment is great. My youngest child goes to their preschool and my oldest goes to their afternoon tutoring classes. I could not help reading a response below and wanted to state some things I have observed...they have a separate lobby door that is controlled with an electronically controlled security procedure. In addition I have been there on two separate occasions when grandparents have tried to pick up kids that were not in the system and both times I heard them call the parents and then check photo IDs. Once I finally get inside my child is always with her class and teachers and they make sure I am her parent (well they know me of course) before I get her.
In terms of playground stuff�¢...they have this huge indoor playground area (they have a matted gym area and another recreation area that is inside with air conditioning). In addition I have picked up my kids early on a few other occasions (once at 10am and another at 11:30am) from the outdoor playground and it was completely covered with shade. I remember asking the teachers about this and they told me that the buildings walls keep the outdoor playground shaded all morning. In addition they have this huge sail looking shade structure that covers the playground equipment. I remember checking out other preschools and none of them had anything close to compare with their indoor and outdoor play spaces. The learning programs are unbelievable and the main reason our daughter attends (and our son with the tutoring programs). Both of them are learning so much and both really love the animated technology screens and other equipment they get to use. I also reviewed the past preschool class results and was so impressed with the high level of performance their past students have achieved. We love Cranium Clubhouse.

I have to say i was EXTREMELY disappointed with this establishment. I signed up before they opened and all the owner, Eddie, would do is rave about the staff, security, and innovativeness of the school. Of course we were excited, only to find out the exact opposite. My child attend for a few weeks before i decided to stop. There is absolutely NO SECURITY. They have a door that locks, but there is no type of identification required, the staff relies on recognizing people as they come in, there are no security cameras, and once a person is inside they could basically leave with any child they wanted to. They promised the playground would be adequately covered and it is NOT. The equipment gets hot and my child was burnt on it. The teachers are not ALL friendly. I arrived early to pick my child up and witnessed a "teacher or assistant" mocking a child who was visibly upset and whining so she mocked his whining and had NO control over the kids she was watching. Some of the assistants take snack away from the students in order to discipline them, and the stories can go and on. I pulled my child after a few weeks and i know many people who have done the same. I expected extraordinary care and teaching techniques to be occurring for the outrageous price and that is NOT the case. To me and many friends it seems like they have talked a big game and spent money on the beautiful murals and decorations, but are skimping in other areas. The individuals rooms are very bland, they use some of the same materials that the orange county schools do which is not innovative, and the teachers are NOT overly friendly- our child's teacher hardly ever smiled! Overall i WOULD NOT recommend this facility to anyone who cares about their child's education and well being.

Loved being the only party there! I thought the structure of the party was wonderful. Children only have a short attention span and to go from one event to the next was great! I saw many of the moms leaving with pamphlets, and they wanted to know how I found it! Great job!

Our boy used to go to a local private school in Windermere and we were just not happy. We had known about Cranium when they were Fasttrackids over in the Dr Phillips area. We heard so many good things about the curriculum and how well all the kids do that came out of there but to be honest we needed more hours and they were strictly part time. Now they opened up Cranium and they offer everything. He is doing so good at Cranium this year. There is a group of 3 of us that have all switched over from the private school and all of us are so happy.

My child was previously in a daycare, and I was unhappy with it. A friend told me about Cranium Clubhouse, and had nothing but good things to say. I went in for a look, and was impressed. We start next Monday!

I went for a evaluation and since my child laid his head on the table since he was tired the director said she doesn't think he is a good fit for their school. My son is not used to going to a school on a Saturday, that's when we went for a trial even though when we first went in they said they could do a Tuesday and then they e-mailed me back stating that they over -booked. The director told me to speak to the teacher which I did, the teacher said he did fine and that they could take him. I was a bit confused since the director said no they could not take him. Then the owner came in and said that they all need to discuss things and that he is a business and of course he wants me money that's what they are their for. That gave me a huge sign that they actually do not care for the children (Of course I know they are a business but saying that to me is very unprofessional and rude). They said they will call first thing Monday morning they never called. After speaking to several friends of mine from Windermere they said that they did not enroll their children at Cranium because they are not the old Cranium they used to be in Dr. Philips. Now all they care about is how much money they can make from children that are quite and extremely well-behaved they do not want to work and help children...even though they are a school!!!!!

Amazing Preschool!Right as we walked into the lobby, we were greeted with warm friendly smiles. My child was excited because of the fun and colorful atmosphere. The curriculum uses state of the art technology to help engage the kids. I was impressed by the teachers and their willingness to make both my child and me as comfortable as possible. I love the idea of combining education, motorskill growth, gym, music, chinese, sign language, etc. into one curriculum. Couldnt be happier with my decision to come here!

Just did a Birthday Party at this place. Unbelievable. My kids can not stop talking about it.
