The one-time winter retreat of a New York wine merchant, DeBary Hall is now a National Historic Site that offers exhibits and programs relating to the St. Johns River region. Interpretive guides help to bring history alive for visitors. The grounds house a 8,000-square-foot main house, stables, and workers' quarters. An Imagidome Theater presentation offers a film on the area's history.
Summer camp programs with a history theme are available in June and July; call for details.
Outside, families can enjoy a picnic on the grounds, and hike along the trail.
