We had Divine Delicacies make our baby 1st Birthday cake for Saturday July,28, 2012. It was FANTASTIC! Guests were going back for second pieces! The appearance of the cake was perfect, gorgeous and everything we had discussed. She worked within our budget and made something 20 times better than we thought possible. We will use her again and recommend her to anyone! they are as sweet as their cakes.

This is one of the best bakeries in the Miami area. Their cakes are really moist, and have the most unbelievable cream cheese icing. I would highly recommend getting a cake for a special occasion from here.

Conveniently located right across from FIU, this bakery has served my family well for many years. They made my niece's beautfiul wedding cake, they have made countless birthday/mother's day cakes for us, and whenever I just have to have a taste, I stop by for a slice--they have a cooler packed with ready-to-go slices right by the door. If you procrastinate and are in a rush, you can also call and have a ready-made cake available in two different styles (balloons or flowers.) They specialize in rum cakes of all flavors--with just the right amount of moistness and creamy frosting that is not too sweet . Warning: these cakes are very addictive!

I was in search for a new cake boutique, so I was extremely nervous. However, Divine Delicacies reassured me repeatedly that they would surpass my expectations. I am so happy to say that they were right. My son's baptism cake was beautiful. Since the cake was customized, I wasn't sure how it would look, but they constantly provided me with feedback and suggestions as to what was the best design. I even allowed them to make the final decision on some of the details and I was just in awe when I saw the cake. It was very important to me that my son's cake would not look feminine. It was perfect--it was boyish, yet elegantly religious for his baptism. Furthermore, the guava cake with guava and cheese filling was amazingly delicious and had a perfect texture and smell. I found a new cake boutique that appreciates my business and truly understands the meaning of customer service. My son's first birthday is six month's away and I have already decided that I do not want anyone else to make that cake. In fact, I have already started working with Divine Delicacies on that cake. My son deserves the best cake, which is why I count on Divine Delicacies. Thank you Divine Delicacies, you are the best!

I will never order a cake from this company again. I had ordered a cake for my 30th birthday party and it was a complete nightmare. It all started with the cake tasting. The staff was rude and not helpful at all but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt that they may have just been to busy(since the first time I walked in there they were very friendly). They basically just threw down a a tray of cake flavors and left. Then, the cake was originally suppose to be picked up on a Saturday morning but I had switched it to be picked up on Friday afternoon after 4p.m. since I would be to busy to pick it up on Saturday morning the day of the party( I called on Tuesday to make the change). When Friday came I called to let them know I was on my way to get the cake and let them know that I was coming from Tampa and was sitting on awful Miami traffic. The girl said that was fine that they would be open until 7. However, when I got there around 5 they acted like they had never heard of me and kept asking me what the cake looked like even after I told them my name. Turns out the cake was NOT READY! It did not have the decorations on it and the flower that was suppose to be on it was scheduled to be there on Saturday morning. To fix the problem, I asked if they could deliver the cake to me...this was an extra $40. I asked if they could give me discount on the delivery since I would not be able to come back to pick up the next day since I was staying in Miami Beach and would not have the time to drive back all the way to their location. They were able to knock down the price to $20. I was told that the cake was to be delivered between 10-11a.m. Saturday came and I waited around for the cake to be delivered to my hotel since I couldn't have a cake just sitting in a lobby! I decided to call them around 12 since the cake had not been delivered yet. I was told that it had already gone out and that it should be getting there soon. 1:30 came and around and still NO CAKE! I called back and again they kept asking me what the cake looked like and told me that it should be getting there soon. When I asked what time, I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes and when the same girl I had been talking to the entire time came back she acted like I didn't know who I was and what I was holding for! She eventually gave me a time between 3-4 and would not give me a refund on the delivery charge. Eventually the cake got there at 3! Luckily the cake was beautiful and tasted good but it wasn't anything that Publix couldn't do. And to top it off the flower they had "waiting for to be delivered" was a sugar flower instead of a real flower like i had requested(the flower was pretty but the color did not match the cake. Coral instead of pink..and I was not told of this change!) To sum it up, this place it disorganized, has no customer service and act as if they are new to a cake business. When one pays $300 for a birthday cake plus a deli every fee, one should be able to expect excellence and perfection and for it to be ready on time and not a day late and 4hours late on deli every. This place knows nothing of that. Therefore, they will never get my, my family or friends business ever again. Save yourself the grief and go somewhere else. Miami is filled with great bakeries. This place is a joke.

Their cakes are the best in Miami. They dont make the cake mass-production like other cake bakeries in the area. you can taste the difference once you tried them. my wedding cake,babyshower and all my daughter's birthday cakes have made by them. I give them A+ for their vanilla rum with dulce de leche filling cake... i go there once a week for their slices to go.

This is so far I agree the best Cake boutique in South Florida. They have been serving my family with their cakes for many years. Always creative cakes and delicious flavors.

This bakery is the best in Miami!! All my family events cakes are made here. I love their Vanilla Rum Cake and specially their Guava/CreamCheese! yum is truly a divine delicacy! ddckaes are the bestttt
