The 570-acre E P Tom Sawyer State Park is home to an Activities Center with a gymnasium and indoor courts for basketball and badminton. Leagues and clinics offered throughout the year.

The Olympic-size outdoor pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Sun-Fri 12n-6:30pm, and Sat 10am-6:30pm for a modest fee ($4 for ages six and up). YMCA Swim Lessons are available for ages three to 12 for all swim levels. Call Northeast YMCA (502.425.1271) to register.

The park's 12 state-of-the-art tennis courts are open 7am to dusk daily. Contact the Recreation Office at 502.429.7270 for more information or to reserve a court.
