The history of Edmond - from prehistoric times through the Land Run and World War II until the present - is housed in the WPA-built, former Armory of the 179th Infantry, 45th Division of the Oklahoma National Guard. The museum features a Children's Learning Center with a general store, train station, a prairie house, toddler garden, an activity area, and more.
A Making History Club allows elementary-aged children to combine history with art through monthly programs during the school year and more frequent programs during the summer.
