First Presbyterian Church is a seaside congregation with a great love of music. It's also home of the much-in-demand First Pres school, that seems to be every Santa Monica family's first choice in preschool. Although the school is run by the church, it is promoted as a non-denominational program and is open to children of all backgrounds. The facility (and the tuition) reflects a lot of money behind this non-profit program, but several generous scholarships are generally available.

The church also offers a toddler program for parents and children, as well as various after-school programs. During the summer months, vacation bible camp is available.
