Easter activities abound in and around Atlanta, and we've rounded up a highlights list of free or inexpensive events for kids and families so you can ring in spring without wringing out your wallet! Don't be late for the egg hunts; most start promptly and end about 30 seconds later as the kids feverishly scoop up the goods.

April 3, 2009 - Henry County Parks and Recreation hosts a nighttime egg hunt with an Easter Bunny visit, face painting, and treats.

April 4, 2009 - Decatur Square hosts an Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own basket.

April 4, 2009 - The Acworth Egg Drop at Cauble Park promises thousands of eggs are up for grabs, on the ground and coming down from the sky via helicopter.
