Located on twenty-six acres of land at the north end of the
Cal State Fullerton campus,
Fullerton Arboretum is home to plants whose origins range from the Mediterranean to the redwood forests, from autumn in New England to a desert oasis.
Classes and exhibits are offered as are community garden plots, available to the general public on an annual (and first-come, first-served) basis. Facilities include a
museum, the fully restored 19th century Heritage House, and a Camino Real Bell marking Junipero Serra's famous trail. The Children's Garden is an outdoor classroom for children's programs and activities that take place throughout the year.
The Potting Shed sells an appealing variety of plants and provides a great way of supporting the
Arboretum after enjoying its grounds for free.
