Funny Bone Comedy Club351

I enjoyed the show. The comedians were funny, but the beginning service was horrible. After walking into the club I sat down at the bar, which did not seem to be overly crowed at all. I found the bartender, Courtney, to be quite rude and rushing. She seemed to talk down to me when taking my drink requests. She was not welcoming at all and was very disrespectful when talking to the other staff members who were only trying to help.

In the big room the servers did seem to be more hospitable. Even though the waitress I had, Mell, was new, she seemed very sweet and endearing when taking my orders. She was prompt with the waters, and sodas. She was very attentive to my needs on the constant refills and assuring my table was not cluttered with empty plates and glasses. I was amazed at how quick she was to cash me out towards the end of the show, I didn't have to wait like in the past. There was also another waitress with brown hair who was quite attentive as well even though she was not assigned to my table. The food was delicious and the price matched the quality and quantity well. However, It seemed like forever to get my alcoholic beverages. I assume the bartender is the only one making the drinks and that would explain the delay. I would give Funny Bone a 4 Star rating if it was not for the bartender, who all in all was a "mood killer" before the show even started.

I have to say I have had better experiences. Personally, when I walk into a comedy place I I like to feel welcome- Courtney did not make me feel that way. Her lack of respect made me think twice about even staying for the show due to the fear that the other servers would have the same horrible disposition- Safe to say, they did not.

For anyone looking for a nice night out, Funny Bone would be the way to go. Fair warning- Do not order from the bar. Wait for your server and your night will be up to par with expectations.
