This is a magical, fun place for children. A little dingy and worn, but the kids don't care. I recently had a 4 yr old b/day party here and it was a huge success. Everyone had a blast. I agree with other posts that decorating is a bit of an issue. I had trouble getting enough time to decorate as well, but it worked out. Also the staff was helpful but not super speedy. I had to stay on them about announcing over the intercom when it was time to eat, cut cake etc. All in all I would reccomend this as a party place but 1) set up the day before and 2) find out when the pizza is ready before you schedule the outline for the party.

I saw the previous post and I have to say, they must have had an off day (but it seems they tried to make it up to you by comping pizza and drinks) because our party was awesome! It was so nice to not have to do anything. I was able to visit with my friends and everything was taken care of. Even the clean up! The kids had a blast and the parents kept commenting on how impressed they were with the equipment, cleanliness and organization of the party. My friends have so far booked 3 parties from mine. We had almost 30 kids and just as many adults and everyone was able to eat comfortably. We had to leave the room after the 2 hours but they told us, we were allowed to stay and play as long as we wanted. I would recommend this place to anyone and I have. We are definately looking forward to next year.

We had a very bad experience with timing and service at funtastic playland. Our party was scheduled to start at 11:30. We were told we could arrive at 11:15 to set up. The place did not open until after 11:30; employees were milling about outside and my guests were waiting in their cars. It was a nightmare once we got in there, trying to get everything situated. Plus the pizza was VERY late in arriving, even though we had given them our pizza order in advance the day before. We were forced to have pizza and cake for 15 plus kids and adults within 25 minutes, plus "exit" the party area in 5 minutes. We were comped some of the drinks and pizza but that didn't make up for the rushed experience. The party staff person assigned to us was very rude and SLOW as well. We won't be booking any parties there anytime soon!

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. My sons always have a great time. My two year old has a blast running around and I feel secure enough that I don't have to constantly chase after him since I do have a newborn as well. Melissa is AWESOME!!! She is super friendly and goes out of her way to please her customers. They offer so much that it's a MUST visit.

this place if fantastic for verry active kids like my childrens i enjoy going with my husband and childrens is appropriate because is indoors is good teraphy for childrens i happy to have this place in san antonio.

What a great play place!! This warehouse-style space has been imaginatively transformed into the ultimate backyard...indoors! The play structures are well planned with plenty of climbing, slides, nooks and crannies. Each structure and play area sits on a padded, rubberized surface for soft landings. The toddler area has age- and size-appropriate climbers, a bounce house and toys for little ones. I could go on and on... And with admission only $5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, you definitely will get your money's worth. I'll be telling all my friends about it. My son and I are looking forward to many more playdates here!
