I have been taking the kids I nanny to GLS for over a year and they love it. Not only is the owner super friendly and personable, she knows all of the kids by name. It is a convenient location and the space is fairly large. It is kept tidy, so be prepared to clean up after your children or make sure they pick up the toys they were using. I think that is a great policy myself, you take it out, you put it back. There are many toys for the children to choose from, for example: a jungle gym, rock wall, doll house, dress up clothes, pirate ship, art room and another room dedicated to books. They have 3 bathrooms and 2 changing tables, definitely a plus, AND the cafe is awesome! The only negative is that the prices are a bit high, for the food and the admission. However, if you want to spend a day playing and then plan on going out for lunch, this is a great place to do it!

I can't believe this place is still in business. While the selection of toys is certainly varied, you're practically tripping over all the crap. Everything looks dirty, the bathrooms stink up the place, and the larger fixtures are falling apart--literally, screws and pieces falling off. Does Maine have any sort of regulations for this stuff? I can't even get into how unsanitary and hazardous the cafe-area looks. Knives, tools, and equipment everywhere. Great concept, but the place is a dump, it's a shame there's no integrity and no one can seem to get their acts together.

The woman who owns it is crazy. I have a lab that I bring everywhere with me. It was 60 and rainy today. The dog was sound asleep in the back of my SUV. Well the owner knows who I am and the dogs name because her and I have had run ins in the past. She got everyones attention in the place asking where I was and procedded to tell all 50-70 people there that I was abusing my dog and the windows were not down and he was in distress. So I went and looked at the dog... he was sound asleep and the windows were down. This isn't the first time that I have had issues with the owner. She is a nut job plain and simple and wonders why she is going out of business. I am not the first person that she has been incrediably rude to on multiple visits. LADY if you treat mothers like dirt no matter how much our kids like the place we won't come back.

We enjoyed visiting Greenlight Studio! It was clean and kid-friendly, and there is definitely wide variety of activities for young children. I also really enjoyed the coffee bar. However, I think the admission price is a little steep. For me to bring my 2 children, it was $20. If there was a reduced rate for families (i.e. $10 first child, $5 each additional), I would definitely visit more often.

Greenlight Studio is the perfect place to bring your little ones. It is 100% child proof and clean. The staff is exceptional! My 2 year old daughter loves to play here. Plus, the coffee and food is AMAZING!.

My kids love the variety of things to do from the rock wall, the dome, the reading room with puzzles, art stuff, doll house, dinosaur bin, dress up clothes... oh I could go on and on! I love that its like being home but better (I don't have this much space nor this many toy options!) but I can drink a great cuppa coffee and surf free wi-fi while they play; then I can call 'em over to have a healthy lunch before they're off to new adventures!

Fantastic place! We have been brining our 2yr old son to Grenlight studio almost every week and even got a 10 visit pass. The owner did a great job of picking an open space with lots of natural light and making it friendly for kids and parents alike. With the 0-6 age group, my son doesn't feel overwhelmed by bigger kids and there is enough to share. I love that he has an option to read, draw, pretend play or just run around and I can enjoy a good cup of coffee. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

Was fortunate to visit the space with my 5yr old daughter. She LOVED it. The climbing wall was the first thing she conquered :) The jungle gym was also fun. She love the huge chalkboard wall in the art area as well. I enjoyed my coffee and some "me" time as she played. I had to pull her out when we needed to leave. Very comfortable and welcoming. Great creative play toys!
