Hershey Gardens offers 23 acres of spectacular gardens, an interactive Children's Garden, an indoor Butterfly House, and a gift shop.
The whimsical Children's Garden, designed specifically for little ones, provides a fun, self-guided learning environment that features a human sundial, whistling mist fountains shaped like Hershey's Kisses, a bird blind, and more.
The Butterfly House, open from late May until late September, is home to more than 300 butterflies. Visitors can see nearly 25 different species, observe the entire lifecycle of the butterfly, and ask questions of friendly Butterfly House volunteers.
Hershey Gardens hosts school programs and a variety of family programs for preschoolers. Families can also tour the gardens using free scavenger hunt lists and Discovery Backpacks (available for an additional fee).
General admission to Hershey Gardens is free for guests staying at The Hotel Hershey, Hershey Lodge, and Hershey Highmeadow Campground.

tips:
Paths throughout the gardens are paved and very stroller-friendly. In the warmer months, bring a change of clothes for little ones and let them frolic around the mist fountains.
