Hershey Trolley Works offers visitors the chance to tour "America's sweetest town" on old-fashioned trolley cars complete with lively, turn-of-the-century conductors.
Three different Trolley Works tours are offered. The 60-minute History and Chocolate Tour, available year-round, includes fascinating details about the town, Milton Hershey, his factory, and the chocolates that made him famous. Two entertaining actors bring the story of Milton Hershey to life in on The Trolley Adventure tour, available Memorial Day through Labor Day. The magic of the holiday season unfolds on The Christmas Adventure tour, offered only during Hershey's annual Christmas Candyland celebration in late November and December. Free samples of Hershey's chocolate are distributed to guests on each trolley tour.

tips:
During peak hours, Hershey's Chocolate World (where trolley tour tokens are sold) is packed with people. To avoid the crowds, try to go as early as possible; book your trolley tour as soon as you arrive, before exploring the rest of the attraction.
getting there:
From Philadelphia: Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) west to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76). Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) west to exit 266; turn left onto 72 north. Follow 72 north to 322 west, and then take 322 west into Hershey (approximately 12 miles). Stay straight as Route 322 becomes Hersheypark Drive and Route 39 west. Follow Hersheypark Drive for 0.9 miles, and then take a right onto Park Boulevard. Follow Park Boulevard 0.3 miles, and turn left into Hershey's Chocolate World.
