about Hershey's Chocolate World:

A world of fun awaits inside Hershey's Chocolate World, including free tours through a simulated Hershey's chocolate factory, a fun and informative ride that concludes with free samples of Hershey's chocolate for each guest.

Chocolate World visitors can also see Hershey's product characters brought to life in Hershey's Really Big 3D Show, an animated 3D musical film complete with in-theater special effects, and package their own Hershey's Kisses, create personalized messages on giant Hershey's Kiss plumes, and send chocolate greeting cards at Hershey's Factory Works. The Kit Kat Cafe, a food court, a bakeshop, and a Marketplace offer a huge selection of Hershey's candy and souvenirs.

Create Your Own Candy Bar, the newest addition to Chocolate World, is a don't-miss experience for kids of all ages. Attraction visitors don aprons and hairnets before entering a real chocolate processing facility to build their own chocolate bars on computer screens. After adding up to three ingredients to milk, dark, or white chocolate, participants can watch the bars being made on an assembly line, and then use computers to design their own custom candy bar labels. Each completed bar comes enclosed inside a keepsake tin box. Create Your Own Candy Bar sessions are offered throughout the day; timed tickets, available at the admissions desk for $14.95, should be purchased upon arrival.

Hershey's chocolate-themed birthday parties are available at Chocolate World for up to 25 guests. Call 717.534.5651 for details and reservations. Tour tokens for Hershey Trolley Works can be purchased at a counter inside Chocolate World.

tips:

During peak hours (mostly in the summertime), Chocolate World is packed with people. To avoid the crowds, try to go as early as possible. If you're planning to take a trolley tour, see the 3D show, or take part in Create Your Own Candy Bar, be sure to book those activities as soon as you arrive, before exploring the rest of the attraction.
