Highlands Square is
one of Denver's oldest neighborhoods, originated by Scottish and Italian immigrants near the turn of the 20th century. Its historic brick buildings and quaint bungalow- and Victorian-style structures provide the "homes" for many of the local businesses.
Today,
Highlands Square is a
vibrant shopping and entertainment district stretching along 32nd Avenue between Julian Street and Perry Steet - a compact six blocks. Merchants include
Real Baby, Starlit, The Perfect Petal, Frolik on 32nd, West Side Books,
Happy Cakes, Chipotle Mexican Grill,
Heidi's Brooklyn Deli, and Mead St. Station.
