My two year old daughter and I attended this series of classes with Jenn (the teacher), and we loved it! It was a wonderful time to get out into a beautiful park that I would never have explored or experienced in the same way without the classes. And as a homeschooling family, the lessons/themes were inspiring, well tailored to the ages and abilities of the kids, and gentle. It is all about just getting kids outside and letting them enjoy it. Jenn's understanding of children and nature was obvious, and I loved that she had her daughter with her while teaching the class. This is the kind of local business that I love to support - one that brings families closer together, and closer to nature. I would recommend this class to parents interested in spending enjoyable time with their children, with the bonus of learning and singing and crafting together.

I changed my older daughter's preschool schedule to free up Friday mornings so that she will have the opportunity to take the Summer session with us -- it is that great! If you are looking for a fun, creative, outdoor activity to do with your kids (age 1-4 years) on Friday mornings, this is a fantastic option. You will learn about different habitats within Discovery Park, sing songs, do craft projects, get dirty, run around in the fresh air, and be left with very tired nappers. I really cannot say enough good things about this program -- check it out!

This was so over priced and the instructor was terrible. One day she was 30 minutes late, and we were offered no refund or anything -- we all just waited with no idea where she was in a parking lot. She had little enthusiasm and the price is just beyond crazy. There's a tiny (and very inexpensive) craft offered, but no snack or anything else. A total waste of your money -- and be forewarned, she does not offer refunds. We attended the first class, and once we saw how poorly it was run, we asked for a refund and were refused, as were several other parents who tried the same thing. It was so bad one of the parent friends I met during the class stopped attending, even though she couldn't get her money back. Save your money and go to Discovery Park on your own!!!!
