I'll make this review simple. The dentists are ok. Dr Wong is nice. The staffs are all smiley but talks behind your back. The billing department are mean and unprofessional when you questioned their fees. And yes, they raised their fees. Also, the dentists may requested your child to have porcelein filling/coverings when maybe it wasn't necessary. The job may not be that great either since the child teeth are still growing. So, if they added the covering, it may needed to be redone a year later. Just warning those interested in this facility. NICE ENVIRONMENT, NICE FRONT, lots of hidden fees and headache later.

Kidsmiles is truly a great place for children and their families! My 5 year old son has been a patient of Dr. Azama and Dr. Wong for the past three years. He recently had two difficult procedures done, one by Dr. Yee and another by Dr. Langworthy. He was very anxious prior to these appointments but both doctors and their assistants made sure he was comfortable throughout both procedures. Doctors Azama, Wong, Yee, & Langworthy and their staff are definitely dedicated to offering excellent care and are skilled in treating children with patience and kindness. They always take the extra steps to ensure that their patients have a positive dental experience!

This place is great. The doctors are kind, caring and very knowledgable. My daughter has had "watches" for quite some time that Dr Azama says may just remain without needing treatment. I have found great customer service with the assistants and front desk gals. Everyone is wonderful here. I would never go anywhere else!

My son had a cavity that needed to be taken care of. The previous dentist my son saw did not specialize in children like Dr. Azama and Dr. Wong do. The dentist did not communicate well with my child and was not comforting. A friend who speaks very highly of Dr. Azama and Dr. Wong suggested I see them. And that's exactly what I did. The experience I got was totally opposite of what I'm used to getting. They are very caring and will treat your child as if it were their own. They found ways for my son to understand how his cavity was going to be filled. They explained everything they were going to do before they did it. They made sure he was comfortable and all of his questions were answered before they began. Everything went well of course. My son has been coming to this office for the last two years and has been cavity-free since.

My kids are regulars for past two years. This used to be a great place for kids in the past. Recently, the service level has changed for the worse. They also raise to service fee so much that it's much more expensive than your adult dentist visit. The typical visit with my kids is around 15 minutes (including cleaning), while my regular dentist appt is somewhere around 40 minutes. It's more like a factory now, than a caring dentist. Go somewhere else for bigger back for your bucks!

I generally agree that this dentist office is wonderful for kids. However, be prepared to bring your checkbook. They are so arrogant to raise their fee in downed economy as June 09 (and without informing parents in advance). Most of these tasks (x-ray, cleaning, etc.) are performed by tech anyway. There are better options as they are bringing now new grad as well.

Dr. Azama came highly recommended by other parents who have had her as a dentist for many, many years. Our two daughters absolutely LOVE her - the staff are great and well trained to work with children.

This is a wonderful dentist office for kids. I switched here after an awful experience with a popular dentist in Pacific Heights literally held my 2 year old kid down under protest to clean her teeth. Here they really respect the child, and teach them to clean their teeth properly. Both Dr. Wong and Azama are excellent!
