about Kids' 2010 Easter Events in Denver:

The Easter Bunny's arrival is on the horizon, and so too are all the chocolaty treats and frenzied Easter egg hunts that are part and parcel of his visit to the Denver-metro area. Between now and April 4, several springtime-festive Easter events for kids and families are on tap.

Our can't-miss favorite: Bunny Trail Egg-venture at Denver's Children Museum, taking place this year on April 3. Think holiday crafts, egg hunts, and visits with cute-as-can-be springtime animals.

We also think it's a mighty fine idea to hop aboard the Bunny Express; it's held at the Colorado Railroad Museum on April 3.

If you're looking for Easter Bunny photo ops, head to FlatIron Crossing, which hosts the Easter Bunny for photo ops between March 12 and April 3 or Southlands, which welcomes the Bunny on March 18; Park Meadows; and Colorado Mills.

Lafayette's outdoor Easter Egg Hunt had to be postponed last week due to snow and is now scheduled for April 3; little ones also get their own celebration at Festival Plaza. Also in Lafayette, Crawdaddy's Easter Egg Hunt on April 3.

Heritage Square in Golden celebrates the holiday and its seasonal Grand Opening with egg hunts, Bunny photo ops, and candy hand-outs from all the shops.

Bass Pro Shops hosts Easter activities during the weekends of March 27-28 and April 3-4.

The Downtown Aquarium features some Easter festivities in its Restaurant when it offers Breakfast with the Bunny and Easter Brunch.

On April 3, Washington Park hosts its First Annual Easter Egg Hunt while in Westminster, the mayor enjoys his official duties as host of the Easter Eggstravaganza. Kids can head to Lakeshore Learning Materials to get crafty and make Silly Bunny Puppets.

The Wildlife Experience Museum in Parker hosts its annual Spring EGGstravaganza on April 3.

Lilly S. wrote in to tell us that The Boulder Valley YMCA hosts a lively Easter Egg Hunt on April 3.

Heather N. reports that Ken Caryl Church is hosting a free commmunity Easter Eggstravaganza on April 3.

For a more contemplative Easter (and a serene calm before the kids' sugar high hits), head to the perennial Easter morning favorite in the Denver area: Easter Sunrise Service at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Famileis are treated to refined Easter Echantment at the Brown Palace Hotel thoughout the holiday weekend.

Finally, all day on Easter Sunday, Denver's Hard Rock Cafe hosts its Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
