The Little Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride Lot is a great place to catch the ski bus for a ride up the canyon, but it's also the location of some great rocky mountain goat watching opportunities. Once each spring, sometime in April, the DWR hosts its Rocky Mountain Goat Viewing Day; families can learn all about these amazing creatures and even see some through spotting scopes.
