The Long Beach Promenade is a pedestrian-only, six-block thoroughfare offering entertainment, restaurant, and retail shopping venues. Intended to be similar to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica (and designed by the same team), the plans are that the precinct should be complete in 2009.
