about Los Angeles State Historic Park:

Located right in the heart of the city, Los Angeles State Historic Park offers 32 acres of open space directly adjacent to Chinatown, with views of downtown and opportunities to explore the cultural heritage of LA. While much of the park is still under construction, California State Parks has developed a temporary, 13-acre portion for the public to enjoy in the interim.
