We have been doing the parent & child classes with my son (age 3) for several months now. I can't say enough good things about the instructors and their philosophy of teaching. Definitely glad to belong there.

My 2 boys LOVE the karate class! They had such a nice time and couldn't stop talking about it after their first class. The Sensei remembered their names after meeting them once and it feels like you are a part of their family. I would definitely recommend sending your child to this school. My boys are 6 and 8.

They have a variety of classes so we got to try their parent and child karate class. It was a lot of fun and the teacher is great!!!! My daughter is 4 and she had fun. Being independent she preferred the kid only class so she enrolled for the kid class and is very happy there!!!!

We live in Manhattan & it is easy travel. 5 y.o. son is enjoying, learning & growing to our delight. It's a professional but caring & personal school. I'd say living true to the spirit of karate & martial arts. 10/10

Terrific school and instructors. My son and I both take karate classes at MKD. He likes it a lot. The adult karate classes are a terrific mental and physical challenge.

My 9 year old daughter started a few weeks ago and goes there twice a week. The classes are great workouts and have also helped her focus on her school work.

My son 8, has started taking classes - it took a long time to convince him to try martial arts. Sensei Orlando is very good with the kids and I look forward to years of instruction

Sensei Orlando's karate class is challenging, informative and entertaining. Keeps the children engaged. Helps them grow perceptive and disciplined. My daughter loves his class.

Sensei Orlando is a wonderful teacher for adults and children alike. He is patient yet persistent, compassionate yet demanding. We tried several other karate classes before (Tiger Schulman's & the Martial Arts studio) & did not find them a good fit for our twins. Our daughters are 5.5 years old and say Sensei Orlando's the best teacher they've ever had.

My daughter is in Sensei Orlando's class. She loves him. She tells and shows all her friends about what she learnt in class. Two of her friends signed up for his karate classes that way. He is very passionate about what he does. It is evident. He loves teaching karate and his students and the kids love him too and show up every week!

I have a 13 year old son. I hired Sensei Orlando to give him personal Karate lessons. I am very pleased. He is progressing rapidly with the personal lessons and his energy level has increased. He is also standing up to bullies in his school now.

Sensei Orlando leads a relaxed class that inspires discipline yet is visibly fun for the children. The principles of self-respect and respect for others seem to permeate into the students completely inconspicuously. My daughter just under 4 yrs old, took a trial class and since constantly mentions Sensei, as well as the moves she learned. Additionally she picked up a couple of self-defense moves we enjoy practicing at home. I look forward to her enrollment in May.

My son has only taken two classes and is already so eager to go to class. Sensei Orlando is a jewel in the Nile. He is an excellent teacher and definitely aligns with each student. He has the patience and skills to make any parent feel comfortable

My son has been going to Sensei Orlando's classes for the last 5 months. He has become so much more manageable and respectful of me and his dad. I would recommend this class to all kids.
