The
Manhattan Movement & Arts Center (MMAC), home to Rose Caiola's not-for-profit, graded pre-professional ballet program, Manhattan Youth Ballet (formerly based at Studio Maestro), houses five dance studios measuring over 18,000 square feet combined, and a theatre that seats over two hundred audience members.
MMAC offers a wide variety of classes from ballet to ballroom and jazz, hip hop, and funk, to ethnic dance for all ages and levels. Pilates, yoga, and other fitness classes are also on the schedule.
Admission to
Manhattan Youth Ballet is by audition only. Tuition runs from $700 to $3000 per semester. Financial aid is available based upon students' demonstrated financial need and talent.
