The Kennedy School - originally built as an elementary school in 1915 - was converted into a hotel that features a restaurant, several bars, a movie theater, and an outdoor salt water "soaking" pool. Its 35 guest rooms retain the school's original chalkboards and cloakrooms.

Pool access: Free to hotel guests; $5/hour for visitors. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and may swim only until 8pm.
