The Miami Shores Village Aquatic Center is home to the kid-friendly Shipwreck Cove, which features six waterslides, water cannons and interactive water play equipment. Swimming lessons for ages 6 months and older are offered. Residents receive priority registration. Open swim in the competition and lap pools is limited to Miami Shores residents and their guests. Kids ages five through 18 can participate in the Predators Swim Team, a year-round competitive team associated with United States Swimming (USS). Tryouts are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm. Call for additional details. Party packages are available for parties of 10, 20, and 30, and start at $140.
