Family-owned Minnetonka Orchards presents a corn maze, hay rides, theme weekends, climbing structures, wooded trails, a barn store selling treats and gifts, and concessions such as cider brats and donuts in late-summer and fall each year. The pick-your-own apple orchard comprises 4,000 trees producing 14 varieties.
Parties: Weekday birthday parties can be scheduled in season in the clearing by the North Orchard, by the corn crib fort, or in the white pine forest. Site fee is $100; private hayride $75 additional.

getting there:
Take Highway I394 west past Wayzata and Long Lake to Maple Plain, turn left/south on County Road 83 to County Road 110, then take that to County Road 26. Turn right and find the orchard entrance about one mile up the road. The orchard is about 3.5 miles south of Maple Plain and about 12 miles west of Ridgedale Shopping center.
