about Mount Tabor Park:

Mount Tabor Park is located in an extinct volcanic cinder cone. Miles of trails and roadways wind through trees and around reservoirs, many leading to the top, where hikers are rewarded with views of Mount Hood and downtown Portland.

The park is equipped with basketball and tennis courts, as well as picnic areas.
