about New City School:

New City School is an independent preschool/elementary school in St. Louis, which enrolls children ages three years through sixth grade. New City School's instructors focus on teaching students to analyze and solve problems, rather than simply memorize facts. Students here pursue a rigorous curriculum in reading, writing, mathematics, and science; they begin in the early grades to study foreign language, music, and the arts. The school offers before- and after-school care, eight weeks of summer camp, and winter break and spring break camps.
