About New York City Barn Dance

The New York City Barn Dance, created by square dance caller David Harvey, is a traditional, social dance event open to dancers of all skill levels.

Dances led by callers include traditional squares, circles, contras, whole sets, quadrilles, and waltzes, and step dancers demonstrate and teach traditional solo dance styles that correspond to the music tradition featured that evening.
