about Oak Creek Stables:

Oak Creek Stables offers hunter/jumper lessons with dressage foundational work. Students learn to care for their horse, and tack, in addition to riding. Each instructor carries cpr/first aid certifications, and are working towards certification, if not already certified with the American Riding Instructors Association. The Stables also offer a hippotherapy program and recognition as a NARHA (National American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Center. Summer Camp: Summer camps are offered each week of summer starting 9am-2pm. Children have two riding lessons each day, participate in a different horse care / horse handling lesson (feeding, grooming, bathing, lunging, ect), and have a lunch break and time to cool off in the sprinklers. On the first day of camp, their instructors will help each child set a goal for the week of what skill they are going to be able to demonstrate on Friday for their parents. Each Friday, kids paint can paint the white horse. Birthday Parties include pony rides and instruction for controlling the horse, games to practice steering, an horse brushing. Basic birthday parties are two hours with two horses and two instructors, plus an extra hour on the property at no charge to do cake and presents.
