Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport houses over 500 species of animals in both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Upon arrival, visitors can stop by Passages of the Deep, Keiko's former home and now an undersea adventure featuring sharks, rays, and other creatures of the ocean. Those with an affinity for the weird will enjoy Oddwater, the aquarium's newest exhibit, which takes a look at some of the most bizarre life forms in the ocean and shows how their unusual adaptations help them survive. Families can also see jellyfish specimens from around the world, either at the aquarium or via the online JellyCam.

Other aquarium favorites include sea otters, sea lions, seals, and a seabird aviary.

The aquarium offers programs for children as young as three, including classes and camps, sleepovers, and animal encounters, to name a few.

Annual single and family memberships are available, and members receive discounts on aquarium special events. The aquarium houses a gift shop, and wheelchairs and strollers may be rented for an additional fee.
