Overture offers summer camps and classes that enhance music aptitude in babies and young children (0-5 years) with live music, creative movement, drumming, singing, and play. Courses are taught by a GIML- and ECMMA -certified early childhood music teacher.
Saturday classes feature live multicultural listening experiences, drumming, vocal and instrumental exploration, rhythmic and melodic pattern instruction, and creative movement.
Summer camp (Mon-Fri) features all of the above plus musical crafts, outdoor play, rest time, and two daily snack times.
Classes are held at two locations: Nia Moves Studio (3221 Houston Avenue, 77009); and The Branch School (1424 Sherwood Forest Street, 77043).
