Peak's Frozen Custard551

This is a great place to bring the kids (or grandkids in my case). It has comfortable seating and a special kids area with books and games. The ice cream is top notch and, my favorite, real frozen custard. Frozen custard is ice cream but it's made fresh continuously in a special machine from the best local ingredients including a small amount of pasteurized egg yolk. All of this makes the creamiest, densest, best ice cream you'll ever taste. It also has a bit less fat and a lot less sugar than many super premium ice creams. The downside is that since it is made fresh you can only get a few flavors (Peaks has vanilla, chocolate and a special flavor every day). They do have all the kid and adult friendly toppings, shakes and concretes you could ever want so you shouldn't have any trouble with variety.
