Pineview Reservoir offers all sorts of outdoor recreation opportunities, including boating, swimming, fishing, and camping. Sandy beaches can be found at a few places along the reservoir's east and south shores.
Overnight camping is allowed at Anderson Cove Campground on the reservoir's south shore. Reservations can be made through www.recreation.gov or by calling 877.444.6777.
Boat rentals are available at Cemetery Point.
This reservoir is popular with the locals; crowds are more manageable during the week or early in the day on weekends.

getting there:
Located about six miles up Ogden Canyon. From I-15, take the 12th Street exit in Ogden and head east up the canyon.
