I advise everyone to not waste their time or money at this place! I normally don't complain but this place was awful! Our family had checked out the website and thought it sounded like a great place to spend an afternoon. The website promised great food, arcade games ranging in cost from 25-45 cents each, and on Mondays, the extra activities were only $1.00. How disappointing to find out that Planet Play is good at false advertising. The food was not terrible nor was it impressive. We had to ask several times for more pizza to be put out since after all it is a buffet. We were told that fresh pizza would be up in 5 mnutes which actually turned into 30 mminutes. The arcade area is completely overpriced! Most of the games ranged in price from 80 cents to one dollar. To put it into perspective for parents, my youngest loves to play the crane game that picks up candy. To play this game was $1.00....talk about a seriously overpriced tootsie roll! The area to exchange tickets for items is not comparable to many other places. It took MANY tickets to get anything decent. The worst part to me was that although it was $1 attraction day, the computer was apparently malfunctioning and still deducting full price from the children's game cards. For example, instead of $1.00, the go carts were the regular $4.75. When I brought this to the attention of a staff member, his response was, "Well, although it is dollar day for some reason the machine keeps deducting the full price". The staff knew that this was a problem but at no point did they make an attempt to let the patrons know that the full amount was being deducted from game cards. This to me was the most disappointing about this business. It was like stealing from the consumers that support them. I did speak to a manager about my disappointment and concerns. I was very honest with him and told him that my family would never be back to this place of business. There are too many other places in Utah for families to enjoy...please don't support Planet Party!
