Downtown Orlando's Plaza Cinema Cafe is the city's ultimate dinner-and-a-movie destination. The theater concession stand offers a full menu ranging from hot dogs and burgers to salads and paninis. Fries, nachos, popcorn shrimp, chicken tenders, and other easily-managed munchies are offered. There's no kids menu, per se, but general menu prices aren't over-the-top expensive.
Small armrest tables offer a place to set food between bites, and comfy, oversize chairs offer plenty of room to relax. If you'd prefer not to eat in your seat, the theater corridors are lined with small tables for pre- or post-film dining.
Parents on date night may want to spring for the full-romance experience, sharing a decadent dessert and a chilled bottle of wine. A full bottle of wine averages around $20. Beer is also available in bottles and on draft. Ice buckets keep the adult beverages chilled throughout the film.
Parking can be a bit of a bear; the parking garage entrances can be difficult to find and downtown's one-way streets make backtracking a pain. Take your parking garage ticket with you - you have to pay for parking before you return to your car. Handy self-serve machines are located in front of the theater entrance. Also, be sure to have your parking garage ticket "validated" at the box office - doing so drops the parking price to $2.
